B1 Preliminary

В четвертой части экзаменатор задаст вопрос. Заданная тема обсуждается с экзаменатором и другим кандидатом.

Вопрос будет на тему, которая была в предыдущей части.

Четвертая часть длиться около 3 минут.

1. Вначале нужно отвечать на вопрос экзаменатора.

Как отвечать на поставленный вопрос

1.1. Применять Linking words: also, because, but, etc.
I prefer to travel with friends because it’s more interesting.

1.2. Применять более специфическую лексику, заменяя basic vocabulary.
Interesting – sociable
I prefer to travel with friends because it’s more sociable.

1.3. Давать как можно более развернутый ответ.

Слабый ответ
I prefer to travel with friends. It’s more interesting.

Хороший ответ
I prefer to travel with friends because it’s more sociable. You always have people to talk to and hang out with.

2. Затем, как и в предыдущей части Speaking Key for Schools, нужно спросить другого кандидата, по поводу его мнения.
How about you?
Do you agree?

СОВЕТ
Важно показывать заинтересованность в беседе, показывать определенную реакцию.

3. Другой кандидат отвечает на вопрос своего оппонента.
При ответе желательно не просто ответить yes – no, но добавить свой комментарий:
– причину,
– детали,
– пример из своей жизни, жизни своих родных или друзей.

Пример согласия
Yes, I think so too. Also, people can learn about the history of the city and buy such unique souvenirs.

Пример не согласия
I’m not sure I agree with you. Visiting a historical museum is an excellent way to learn about a new city. Still, I think you can learn about the city even if you don’t go there. You can just look up the internet and read some articles or watch some videos on YouTube.

Если студент рассказывает про свои предпочтения, можно сравнить их со своими.
I guess I am quite different from you. I love…
I think I just like you. When I am on holiday…
